Are you able to draw a scene by description? Do you take requests or work by commission?

I am :3
And I do! I must warn you though, that I'm often taking a monsterous amount of time making them, due to my forging.

Awesome! As always your art has so much impact! And I guess Haze is lucky to get a CO that not only cares about his men but is willing to counsel them through tough times.

He is... ;3
Blood is often rather fun to draw. I was just thinking that the slippy smooth surface of the sword would make the blood slide and gather in small dropplets, sort of oil-like.

As an author, gross thoughts are what makes the gritty parts of the story come to life ;3
You think Stephen King doesn't have gross thoughts? It's just important to know you own filter, so that it doesn't take over. Gore is a lot of fun! But only in fiction and art.

Holy shit, I see why he’s so shaken - that’s a big sword to kill someone with!
Lynxes are a rare species, huh? Yeah, anthros of them take some searching, indeed...
So he’s the one who counted the lashes years after this, huh? How interesting. That gives me some ideas.

It's a grown man's sword. Haze is still in his younger teen here, so his hands have some growing to do.
Lynxes are actually rather comon where they are at that time. But Northeners are rare to see in the army.
Ideas? What kind of ideas? ;3

Well, I don’t want to get into it too much, lest you adopt it as canon and thus make this thread into a spoiler, but I’ll just say that there comes a time in every good story where some times is spent on seeing the point of view of someone who isn’t the main character.
By that, I mean “How does this guy feel about Haze’s act of betrayal? Does he even still remember this moment from many years ago? What does his stance on this subject or a similar subject say about people like him, or about the military as a whole? What does it say about the Empire?” I’ll go no farther than that.

Oh, trust me^^
The story of Droran won't just follow the story of Haze. Backgrounds and objectives of sidecharacters are basics that needs to be adressed. There are so many characters and so many stories that will be braided into the road of the reader. All those questions and more will be answered in the coming story.
