Hi I was half way through writing a message about this piece yesterday and I got booted off the internet connection (bloody computers) but luckily it was in my history so I'm back!
What I really wanted to say was that the colours you haveused in this are absolutely wonderful. Really inspiring and uplifting. Wonderful vibrancy and use of shape and design.

it does seem to fit together nicely- i was quite lucky with the design here. as with jungle and waterwax works- altho it should be disordered it isnt 4 some reason.

I like this one better than the last...probably because of the bright colors and the interesting repetition. I like the way you balanced it out asymmetrically with the face balanceing out the spiraling pyramid thingy. It seems very warm(the colors) and VEry nice.

the composition seemed to fall into place well for an improvised piece. i may do this large in oils one day when ive learnt how to paint.

I wish I had the brain power to come up with such intricate pieces.... your art is mind-blowing... literally! Im sure if I tried something like this, it would blow my mind... BOOM. I love the colours.

id call it doodle power rather than brain power. my brains been low on doodle power the last few years but its still quite high on idea power which is just as good in some ways. you could always try it and then if you heads going TICK TICK TICK... you could slow down and add some dreary colours like grey and muddy brown. i hope you like my other stuff as well. this piece gave me nowhere near as much brain damage as some of my other pieces- it only took a few days- i guess cus this is only a4.

hehe i was actualy 100% sober when i did this. i was working in a drug rehab at the time so i wasnt taking/drinking anything for stimulation..

I see that you like using bright colors as much as I do my frien'. I love abstract works. I see a temple-like structure in the jungle. Very cool. This was done on notebook paper? hehe You can't even see the lines. I'm in love with the blending and color choices that you made with this. *bowing I'm not worthy of such eye candy.

cheers star. im glad your eyes enjoyed the catapillar. the design was done on notepad paper. this was done on white a4. yeah i do tend to use bright colours, i prefer it that way. occasionnally i do designs that are dark but most of the time i never carry them out as i like bright colours.

i didnt have any intentional meaning 4 this piece, it was just a doodle. alot of my pieces (apart from the dawn of consciousness) i leave the meaning up to the viewer. some people see it as soul rescue work after 9-11 due to the flames but i didnt consciously intend that as i was out of the country at the time and didnt realise the scale of 9-11 till after i got back..

i totally am digging the top of the pyramid...
the blue to white coloring around the spiral is optically entraping...
i cant seem to put my atention away from it...
the pyramid looks like its made out of boomboxes...
i also like the crazy bright green in the top right...
and the way the top left of that green part seems to fade back forever...
incredible...
i think every bit of it is awesome...
it was made quite a while ago too...
i can tell youve gotten much more technical since then...
but with abstract its all a matter of what medium u chose to use...
and also how small you chose to draw...
that what i belive anyway...

thanks altho i cant see the top right green fading to forever. if i did it now ide definately have the 'psychedelic bubbles' descending to give the illusion. ive definately got more technical than when i did this. when i did this both the compostion and the execution was spontaneous but now they are planned. not to take out the spontaneousness. my current piece was seen in 2 hours its just a case of composing it and working the angles in the pre-dream state.

i dont even bother painting spontaneously now. i would if i had time. my new piece should be interesting. in the past ive been surprised with how much ive liked it but now i expect it to be good so it could go either way. even if it turns out to be shit, it will definately be original shitness.

finding the time is the difficulty...
