Iv wanted to try okami style for ages now and well this is what i got. lol its a kinda of okami style but not
Errr yeh cause im a weird person i totally started drawing the swirlies first then decided to add in a dragon lawl ^^
Anyways i was totally meant to be doing something more important than this
Its just a sketch/reference for later on so don't worry if it looks crap 
She has brown rock type amour with blue markings and purple crystals on her ^^ thats why there kinda see through xD. and around her is our yellow okami style ribbon
drawn in black pen, photo taken on it and edit in CS3. art and character (c) to me

Okami is a ps2 game, Amaterasu is the main character in the game. She is presented as a white wolf with ribbon like parts around her and a floating disk above her back held by fire.
Artists have taken the style of the game and manipulated it to become what it is now.
Unto the point now - If you notice by looking at few examples below that in the style of okami that it is very common for almost random ribbons around the main character.

I love the style you used here--Okami, you said? This flows wonderfully, it's almost as if she's ready to spread her wings from the frame and fly away to the heavens... A lovely sketch, and the color really helps bring her to life.

What is Okami style?
It looks a little rough but the dragon looks cool! Very well proportioned

there is a game okami, search some artworks in dA and u will understand the style more. basically the style had been taken from the game. the swirlies around the dragon are more okami style. yeh its rough cause its still a sketch lol
