The looming dome-top behind the window makes you wonder what is up. It resembles a sun, but is on the wrong side then.
The faces are just fragments, well put into the scene.
The picture provokes a second look in detail, I like that.
All together it seems a little too held back and distanced.
But what I really like is that the outdoors are so much more colorful than the paintings while the paintings almost melt into the walls.

i love the frame within the frame idea! It gives more perspective to the picture! When seen in full view, I love the detail given to the paintings on the easle and on the floor! And last but not least I love the contrast of the ruggedness of the interior of the room and the window against the clean brightness of outside! Well done my friend.
