Now we are using Nikon D200, (most of our pictures in this gallery were taken with older D70s). Generally we use Nikkor Micro 105/2.8D macro lens and Kenko extension rings, sometimes we add Kenko MC-7 X2 teleconverter for "extreme magnifications"

Łąka, upał... no i wypatrzyłem drania jak sobie latał z kwiatka na kwiatek. Podczołgałem się do niego z podpiętą 105tką i strzelałem raz za razem. W sumie zrobiłem więcej zdjęć statycznych. W locie złapałem tę bujankę chyba tylko na 2 kadrach.
Światło zastane, było dużo słońca, więc nie było problemów z krótkimi czasami.

Yes, it is very difficult to get their pictures in flight when they move really fast. This specimen was much easier to photograph, because we were able to get really close to it. Normally they fly away if you get closer than 1m from them.
