Just wanted to say that I was the client for this and our family loved it! I gave her an idea of what I wanted and Cris ran with it. This was a "knock it out of the park" Christmas present. I would highly recommend hiring Ms. Ortega.
As far as the face goes, believe it or not, other than a photo, you could not get any closer to what she looks like, so it was done perfectly. She gives those little smiles, that is just her.

I really can't believe those water and ground is not blurred photo...WoW!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is amazing!! I would be realy happy to see this if I am the client....

critiques: *her face looks kind of evil
*too much wrinkle in the dress on the right side. it looks unnatural.
*the waterfall on the bottom left looks a bit odd, too.
*i feel like she's in a pose where it looks like she's "smiling for the camera." it's too forced. it would be prettier if she were looking down.
compliments: *i absolutely ADORE the use of color. the whole picture looks soft, shimmery, and ethereal.

*good job not putting too much detail on the big waterfall in the background. it's soft and slightly unfocused.

Wow. Good work. For some reason it doesn't seem like your usual style but I love it! Those wings are amazing. Waterfall also looks great.I just noticed that the girl kind of looks like she's baring her teeth. Love her dress though.

Bonito, bonito. Menuda trayectoria llevas, no paras de mejorar.
De todas formas, te diré lo que más me gusta y que creo que se podría mejorar.
+Lo mejor:
-El fondo, sobre todo como te ha quedado el agua, tanto la de la cascada como el pequeño saltito al lado de la niña.
-El reflejo del agua y en el agua. No sé, simplemente me gusta como ha quedado.
-El diseño de las alas.
+Mejorable:
-La luz en la cara de la niña no me acaba de pegar con el fondo. Tal vez bastaría simplemente saturándole un poco más los colores y, tal vez, añadiéndole alguna sombra de hojas.
-Las alas creo que deberían ir también más saturadas, parece que el brillo que tienen les ha matado un poco el color.
Por lo demás, muy bien, muy bien. Me encanta ver cómo progresas.

El estilo y color con que has hecho la cara los veo un poco fuera de lugar, no sé por qué, y las alas parecen artificiales, pero el resto del dibujo es precioso. El fondo es simplemente impresionante. *-*
