Description
A Russian Anti-tank team takes careful aim at an approaching panzer. He has been told by the veterans in his unit to target the vision slits and periscopes. There is little chance he will do anything more than superficial damage, but that will not stop him from trying. If luck is on his side, the enemy tank may assume it's falling into the outer layer of an AT network and it may just back away.Related content

Yeah, the experimental Dual Mag MP40, and stuff like that. All the guns that unlock at the highest experience level. It always felt a little wonky having everyone run around with Mkb42s. Still, t'was a fun game!

That's a pretty cool photo, the resemblance is uncanny!
I think I based this drawing from my time spent playing Red Orchestra. A long time has passed since I've drawn this so my memory is a little foggy, but I think I added the hills and tank long after I had drawn the AT rifle team, which is why the perspective is way off (if only I had found that picture you posted earlier, I would have totally used it as a ref! XD )

i always thought that the PTRD was best used to hit the tracks or wheels, to disable the tank, or even slow it down.

good pic nice idea just the best place to fire and anti tank round is through the side armor which is weaker and more suseptible to attack the only weaker part would be the rear where the motor is and also in some tanks the amunition for the main cannon.

Well done, I like the colours. Then my useless suggestions: Research more on complex foldings of different fabrics, it would look better with some more detailed clothing. Anatomy- well, the heads of the soldiers look a bit small compared to the rest of the body. Looks much like children, but it might just be that they really are just young, I don't know about that- And it might be a good idea to seek at least some cover, the guys are lying in a small hole in the ground, not even a couple of reeds to cover them! Brave guys, I'll give them that!

It makes me think of how brave the Russian soldiers were taking on the might of the German army with weapons that were so badly inferior. But the Germans should've never underestimate what a person will do to protect their home and family.
Whatever we might think of Communism it's in large part to the Russians that the world didn't end up under German rule.

ooor instead of backing way the panzer could rake your position, from were it is, with both machine guns, or at worse, waste a cannon shell and blow your trench ( and you) back to whatever godforsaken Siberian town you came from.
so make your first shot count.
