I certainly do. This is powerful, almost abstract.

This is really striking if nothing else. The black splatter may be just a little inconsistent and too heavy across the top, and I might want the two halves to connect in a more ostensible way, but at first glance, it's a startling image.

This is just flipping amazing. Good concept... excellent execution (though not perfect.. somehow the line between the red and grey doesn't look right.. a little noisy I guess.. but that's extreme nitpicking).. and a new favorite of mine.

dude, thats pretty sick. i love the aging you did to the photo. Man, the clouds are awsome, and the entire seen just blows me away. Like i've said before, i can see a lot of Ansel Adams style in this, even if thats not what your going for. The coloring is really cool, but i'm curios to see what it was like before the coloring.
O, i know what you mean by putting work into it and everything. I sometimes make prints that take multiple tries in the darkroom (im old school, no digital for me), and they don't come out particularly well. Then i'll do another that is done on the first try, and it is damn near perfect. But it just feels strange that it was so easy. Once took me like 8 tries to get the darkness right on a time exposure print (i was using full sheets of fiber bases paper EVERY time), and i finally got it to look good. It was very satisfying once it was done, but it still could use some work.

The reason it feels so easy is because all you do is find a pretty view and press the button. You've got acres of time to compose and set up the shot. Hell, you can leave and come back tommorow to make sure the lighting is right.
That said, photography isn't thast hard anyway.

why does this remind me of Dantes Peak? its like hell except...not. The ground is burning and the sky is dark.
I LIKE IT! ^^

Nice way to complement the darker tones of the sky using the grunge brushes. I also enjoy how the clouds form angled lines pointing toward the mountain, creating both a sense of depth and guiding my eyes downward across the frame. I wish the ground weren't so blatantly red, however. This contrast between colors could have been your intention, but I feel it takes away from the delicacy of the blue hue. Maybe the shot could have benefitted from a more desaturated red color, if any red at all. I like the pic, though.
