Description
The space destroyer Quasimodo is the first Meteor class destroyer that was built to be controlled entirely by dolphins. It's outer appearance may look old and inefficient, but this hull packs some very serious firepower, reaching from over lightspeed torpedos to railguns. The ship's purpose is to scout water planets while functioning just like a normal ship on the water.
Unfortunately the formerly Neptun named destroyer suffered severe damage in the second great intergalactic war. It's crew repaired her on a scrap planet and rechristened her Quasimodo.
The Quasimodo in itself possesses several major upgrades compared to the regular Meteor class. The second turret has been replaced by an Ion cannon, capable of punching holes into enemy battlecruisers. The bow has been reinforced with duranium, which makes it possible to ram other spaceships without having to fear damage on the ship. The shield system has been reinforced with stronger alien shield technology.
Unfortunately, the outer hull itsself shows signs of severe battle damage, relying on the ship's armor alone is no longer an option. The engines have seen brighter days before, but Mechanic Ikeda has so far managed to keep them running.
