Put this together today between homework assignments. I have yet to see a good wallpaper quality shot of the simply gorgeous Cortana model used in the Forward unto Dawn shorts, so I decided to whip this together. I couldnโt even find decent source material, so instead I just put up the video from YouTube in 1080p and screencapped them myself, then did a little trickery in Photoshop to make them look a bit better.Not the most stunning thing Iโve ever done, but I love it, so on the site it goes.
This should go without saying, but this model and these screenshots are not my property in any way, and I make no claim that they are.

Well as much as my computer could easily handle rendering a full body AI assistant, I could see why they wouldn't want to make that a requirement to use it for everyone.

Tons. But the big thing for me is how the Librarian drew the connections between Her and the Didact, and the Master Chief and Cortana. If her design was that long standing and that important, there's no way she'd let something happen to Cortana or Chief.

If you want my speculations, I suspect one of two things:
1. In the cutscene I mentioned, the Librarian made a "backup" of Cortana at the time of her imminent rampancy so she could could be preserved so Halsey (or the Librarian herself) could repair her.
2. One of the copies of Cortana that were flying all over in the last mission stows away in some functional portion of the Didact's ship (it was IMMENSE, and Forerunner tech is legendarily hardy) and, after her self-sacrificial act, she attains meta-stability and re-joins the UNSC.
