We had to leave Bay 7 two days ago. The radiation had already exceeded the upper limits. We can only wait and hope that the situation doesn't get any worse.However, Bay 7 is a dead place now - no life can exist there anymore. Only the machines are still working and will continue until we tell them to stop...

A little story I've thought of when thinking of a name for this pic. Actually this picture is a totally new style for me. I've never cared about the mood of my renders before, I've never cared about an environment to put my renders in. This time I tried to create a whole world, not only a little part of it as I did with my previous works like Radiosity or bin.okular .
I think I have suceeded, even though it is not as detailed as I wanted it to be - but my computer is simply not able to handle such a big file anymore, I've already had problems with this scene (which consists of more than 3350 objects and more than 2,700,000 vertices).
Anyway, I need your feedback now, I've spent ages on this work, now tell me, if it was worth the time. But I really hope that you like it as much as I do

Great work. I'm sure you've heard this before, but it reminds me of the Matrix. ^.^ I really like that little hint of foul green down below... you can imagine it as something toxic rising up and polluting the whole area.

Oh, that's quite simple - just a lot of modelling, replication, work and patience were necessary to make it. And of course Blender as well as Photoshop. That's it

Most impressive. The level of detail is simply astounding. Also, you've used the lighting effects perfectly - rather than being overdone and drawing too much attention to themselves, the lights are subtle, so much so that you could miss them entirely if you just took in the scene as a whole. The dark, foreboding atmosphere is fantastic, and an impressive feat in a lifeless, wide-open scene. The whole thing makes me feel vaguely claustrophobic and agoraphobic at the same time. I also like the apparent lack of shortcuts. Even seemingly identical objects have subtle differences that appear on close examination - slight changes in coloration, geometry, and layout so that no two objects are unrealistic carbon-copies of each other.
Well done. You earned your daily deviation with this, as well as my fav!

For me, it feels like I'm in a surreal place. A place where dark dreams can be found. Yes, it's dark, but it is very beautiful. It's like a place in the future, where everything is made out of machines.
The angle is very beautiful. I love the placement of each element. If I am to focus a video camera, I will start from the bottom portion of your picture, then focus on the middle part (which is the title), then focus on the moon. Very dramatic. Dark and dramatic. (Well it's just me...blabbering... >_<
It's worth your effort to be able to convey a scene that I can only imagine... ^_^
