A little more light. A little less darkness.

Excellent subject. As always you seem to find the incredible in the quotidian. Hats off for subject and composition. Perhaps you like the lighting like this, and that's totally cool and stylistic, but it's not my typical cup of photo . In this instance, I do really enjoy how it comes out of the darkness, but I do prefer when the artist manages to sculpt a shape out of the darkness or give it some form or texture somehow. Sometimes a dark grey is better than black with some colour. Well, there I go with black-and-white talk again. This is a colour photo! Bad Victor! Bad Victor!

Indeed it did, and I love how you represented it here in this shot. Love how it is about to bloom, yet, has not, not quite ready. Love the darkness about it, which to me, means many things, but in keeping with the theme, I would say it to be the moments of doubt he is said to have had. Beautiful work, Steve. So very beautiful!
