Bryce 7 proI find myself strangely hesitant about taking this trip.Β Partly because of the cat, my kid and my nephew, but I think the rest is just a fear that when you go - you're gone.
Addendm: That one of RavynsWorld fine boats and one of her lanterns. She has shops @ rendo, content paradise and elsewhere.

That makes me so sad for you.Β If I outlived Her Royal FattButtedness I was going was going to have the shelter give me an old cat no one wanted to take.
Now I may rethink that.

I miss their company around the house, no question about it... after the last one died I have rethink my position by having more, for now I am alive and well enough to take care of a pet but it would be selfish of me and cruel too if I had to let go, not able to carry on the responsability that it is acepting them in our lives. Sp. when we know the reality of most shelters.

I has the answer.
Take a pet from a no-kill shelter with the understanding that if you die, they will take it back. Also, make sure there is a card on you (or with your ID that says you want the pet to see your body before it is moved.
That way the pet will not think you deserted him/her and will better carry on with the remainder of it's time.

I know the fact all too well, unfortunatelly... I work as a volunteer on a shelter - they don't have the disposal for animals over - however the place is always super loaded and with the way the economy is people abandon them even often... and like children there are the ones no one will ever pick.

Actually, the Dr. cancelled tomorrows appt and rescheduled it for the 29th, so things aren't that bad.Β They gonna tape a vital signs monitor to me I think
