Did some studies of Sonic the Hedgehog by analyzing the Sonic Boom TV series trailer before I rushed myself into penciling the first page to my new Sonic fan comic series.I sketched some Sonic expressions and poses that captivated me from the trailer by using a (01) Micron Pen (I'm starting to really love these pens! They're much better than the Sharpie pens I used to use for my pen drawings).
After scanning those sketches I placed them on a canvas and played around with colors and textures to see if I can find a style that I can use to distinguish the comic. I'm liking this earthy textured look and I'm diggin' the temperature of the colors used on this palette.ย
Anyways a job well done I say, and now it's time to get some sleep before I work on some more on the project.ย
And I shall say this again: Sonic Boom Sonic looks so damn sexy.

I'm happy I found this. Apparently someone on Google + posted this artwork as their own and judging by their grammar and how differently his other "works" differed from their style, I knew he was stealing some works and claiming it as his own. I've warned him already, so you can rest assured
Great work though! I'm not a fan of the boom series but this is absolutely amazing

It was his pose and expression right after skidding to an emergency stop to prevent himself from falling off the cliff edge. A sigh of relief one might say.
