The negative space environment of this is excellent, with an interesting perspective on the figure that disappears straight down into darkness. The gaze is very pure, makes me feel almost sad. This painting evokes emotion, and for that

She chose to put a border cause she's started enjoying the damnations of digital programs like Photoshop that encourage bordering to somehow "enhance" the image.

Oh my. This is such a moody piece of art. The dynamics created by the style, and I am truly considering this style as unique and yet I feel privileged to look at it right now, it adds so much to that mood. very moody... the edge was so sharp against the frame in parts.. so to soften it.. the inner frame was added.. this is a "verge" piece... flowing over.. not such a quick change.. echos in the symbolism..
