Penguins of Madagascar - Kowalski
Just a cover I made for a story I am currently writing. Though, the story itself is going to be called "Kowalski Analysis: The Malaysian Murder". If you can't tell, the idea centers around Kowalski being a Sherlock Holmes-esque style detective, solving cases along with his faithful companion--Doctor Private.
Mostly I just love the idea of exploring a fantasy where Kowalski sees himself as some genius hero, and this is his inner life.

I can't wait for you to read it too! While I know EXACTLY what's going to happen in the story, its just taking a while to pump out because I...get bored when I write by myself. (Which is why I usually write/rp with others.) But I'm so fond of this concept, that I have been working on it while the wife and I work on our other story. So hopefully it doesn't take a million years to write a oneshot-- even if said oneshot should be between 5,000 and 10,000 words long.
That said, thaaaank you! Kowalski was really fun to draw for this. Mostly because I'm still loling at the thought of him smoking a bubble pipe.

I'll be sure to post a link when I finish it! It's been fun trying to blend both worlds to get a fair middle ground that represents them. Plus...so far, in my writing, I haven't really explored the character chemistry between Kowalski and Private yet. I've done Skipper with Private (father/son type of bonds), I've done Rico with Private (Private helping out Rico with matters of the heart)...But not really anything with him and Kowalski. So I'm looking forward to it!

Thank you! It actually came to me in a dream. While I was without internet, i have been rewatching a lot of episodes. I apparently fell asleep with one on loop one night, and BAM-- dreamt about detective penguins...Still don't know where the Sherlock part came from, though. i haven't thought of Holmes in a while now. Must have been some subconscious stuff at play there.
