Pretty good drawing, but I do question the color scheme. At the time the Av-Matoran were living in Karda Nui originally, they likely would not have been using their camouflage ability since it was an all-Av population. On top of that, this ends up looking more like a Shadow Matoran aside from the light blue Pakari.

I'm so hoping the 2015 Bionicle sets come with the mask molds in different colors! Then we can finally make this a reality!

The color scheme seems a little odd for an Av-Matoran. I think it would have made more sense for him to be white, gold, yellow, silver, something like that. Av-Matoran are able to change their appearance, which is what happened with Takua. He was disguised as a Ta-Matoran. Later he lost his memory and began thinking he was a Ta-Matoran. His color during his time in Karda Nui would likely not have been red and blue. But I love the shape of his limbs. The Pakari, like people have said, wasn't his Kanohi during these years, and the way you drew it it makes him look a bit angry. Or like a Turaga maybe. I like the other versions you've made with the standard mask eyes

Well, if he was white and gold, Pakari-less, etc.... would he really look ANYTHING like the Takua we know?

Well, considering the creator said that this is how Takua would look during his time in Karda Nui, it would not make since for him to have the blue Pakari, since he did not have that mask during that time. I am going off of what the creator has said, and not what would be most nostalgic.

True, but I don't think this was MEANT to be canon-accurate; just the artist's reimagining of Mata Nui-era Takua if he was released in the Av-Matoran style.

But that is not the case. If you read the description you'll see the intention was to show how he looked in the beginning, in his time in Karda Nui.

Photok, Solek and Tanma were also Av-Matoran and didn't have the typical Light color scheme either, yet they were always on Karda Nui...

This look okay but the color to me don't look good, I think it would look good if the dark gray color exceptΒ the body was change to yellow or blue and the mask looks really bad

Looks great! I think that SHOULD be how he looks during his time in Karda Nui. But even so, I always wondered how he would look like with the Mask of Light and some of his Toa form details added to him (though he would still be in Matoran form).

Love the mask. The eyes are awfully angry, though-- kind of ruins the innocent Matoran look. I understand how you worked to "update" the mask to current standards, but it just seems it might have worked better to leave the eyes roughly the same shape.
