Ah ha ha. I lied.It turned out I had less to study for exams than I thought (I'm still busy enough to go crazy) but I took an hour's break to draw this.
To explain this... I was listening to my brand-new, squee-worthy 25th anniversary tour cast soundtrack of Les Miserables (dream the dream or something of the like) and it is EPIC. In so many ways. Yeahhhh Eponine is NOT my favorite Eponine and the orchestrations are a bit funky at times, but in most areas it's just plain AWESOME.
So if you listen to the end of "A Little Fall of Rain" on this album, Marius sounds sincerely mournful when Eponine dies. It brought tears to my eyes hearing it, but when Enjolras begins to sing OVER Marius' heart-breaking weeping... this popped into my mind. Actually, I literally wanted to tell Enjolras to shut up and let Marius cry.
Then I seriously wanted to laugh out loud, but I was supposed to be going to sleep at this time and I didn't want to wake anyone up....... 
So yeah, enjoy! I hope to catch up on comments.... whenever I can. But leave em anyway! I read ALL of them.

This is amazing. Β A couple summers ago I was in Les Mis and I remember talking about Enjolras' awkward solo with my friends, so when I saw this I started laughing so much!

I got this soundtrack for Christmas!! I just finished listening to "A Little Fall of Rain" (made me cry), and I remembered this pic! Haha, I was half-waiting for Marius to tell Enjolras to shut up like in this picture

I got to see the tour live, and I don't recall anything like this happening...but yeah, I didn't really like the Eponine. Everyone else was AWESOME, though. Def a good production, and my first time seeing it live

nah this doesn't actually HAPPEN live... I just had a similar reaction to Marius' while listening to the tour CD.

OMG I own the album too, DarthxErik! And boy, does that track make an impression on me too. I can't really remember what it looked like when I saw it live back in February (sat right at the back, worse luck) but BOY does the sobbing get to me on the album! Seriously, I ended up sat at my desk wanting to give Marius a big fangirl hug (and from a gal who's normally a Javert fan, that is a serious 'world is upside-down' moment!)
And for once Marius owns Enjolras! Yays.
Do you find some of the sound effects a tad unintentionally hilarious at times? It was great on Look Down when you could hear the creak of the galleys, but on Confrontation when all I could hear was manly grunting noises in between lyrics I very nearly giggled out loud....

I TOTALLY AGREE! And Javert's "UGH-- D-- DAMMIT-- DIS--" sounds....... amusing.
Or what about the epic scream (Enjolras?) when Gavroche dies? I'd never heard anything like that on a soundtrack!! "NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!"

But this is so true! I just love the expressions!
And anyway, I've often thought they should leave the lines aften Eponine's death completely out. I mean, they knew people were going to die, so you'd think they wouldn't make the first one such a big deal, in a way. Besides, it would be even more touching if there was a bit of silence after ALFoR!

Felt like screaming the same at the orchestra the other night. At the really dramatic moments, the orchestra drowned out the singers.
