Description
Drawing of tattooed mermaid who has found a message in a bottle, from a castaway. Turned out ok considering it was done with a horrible leaky biro on a scrap of cardboard. Quite like the old-fashioned look it has.Related content

Gad, with my alias, however did I miss faving this one? Very nice composition, strength and curve of line, shading, and detail.

I hope to one day see this reworked in photoshop with some colour to help enhance the far away dream like quality it has.

Thanks. I'm a bit disillusioned with photoshop, though I thought about doing a proper painting version- some day. If you want to have a go at colouring this yourself, however, then I'd love to see it!

It just looks that way, because of the string of pearls which looks like that's where the back of her head is. I wouldn't have put that there, had I thought.
