I meant to draw Veron's ref sheet when he first promoted to freshman knight, but rl got in the way and didn't get the chance to do it till now. Which is good timing now that the academy is in a new age now.

Personality: Since his time at the academy, Veron is slowly but surely being more open to people and is somewhat able to freely talk for longer periods of time. Although for only a brief moment before he resorts to using short sentences. He is still very shy around people, so it does take a bit of time for him to warm up to people and talk more. He rarely goes completely mute anymore, unless under a lot of stress.

Brief Bio: Originally born on Lanayru Desert but moved to Chronos Desert later on in life. He has mixed heritage: his father belonging to the Sheikah and mother was a knight of Skyloft. After his father was killed on his first hunting trip. His mother moved the family to Chronos Desert and Veron went completely mute for a while before finding Yolanda in the desert on her own. Veron nursed her back to health and she followed him home and became one of his closest friends. He began to open up again after some time and his mother told him to go to Skyloft Academy so that he may become stronger and make friends while there.

Yolanda
Yolanda is very attached to Veron and does not like it when people ignore him or is unable to communicate with him. She will get aggressive and try to bite the person if she sees it happening. She loves beautiful things and will make sure that Veron and herself look presentable before heading out for the day. Yolanda loves spending time with Veron and especially loves when he grooms her. She's not as protective as Veron as she was before now that Veron is becoming more independent.
Fun Facts:
- Veron could only talk freely to his family or Yolanda without his vocal cords freezing up (so far)

- Maximum time that Veron can talk to someone other than family or Yolanda is about 20 minutes before his anxiety kicks in and needs some time to calm down before he can talk again
- Veron would get depressed very easily when someone was unable to guess what he was trying to say
- On the other hand, Veron will become super happy when someone guesses correctly what he’s trying to say

- Veron prefers using gestures over writing when he couldn't use his voice to communicate

- Veron always carries paper and something to write with in case he needed to use it
- Veron’s name is a combination of verdin (a small desert bird) and heron
- When Veron and Yolanda are alone, he calls Yolanda “Yola.” Veron’s WAY too embarrassed to call her that when others are around
- Veron’s hair is ALWAYS in a terrible mess when he wakes up in the morning
