Description
I saw this big carrier ship, the USS Libertine at 's gallery and decided to kitbash it from the Dreadnought. I also made these TOS Tac Fighters because the Federation just needs them
Anyway, the fighter are of my own design, based on the F-22 figter jet with the good old TOS aesthetics. The carrier comes from Star Fleet Battles

In StarFleet Battles I think the most famous carrier was the heavy carriwe MacArthur (Big Mac). She led the final push into the Romulan System during the General War. She was lost over Romulus.
Big Mac carried 24 fighters
12xF–14 (missle armed fighters)
12xA–10 (photon armed fighter bombers).
Her escorts were a New Light Cruiser and two TOS Destroyers.

I meant that it's a big job building the 3D models themselves is a big job. Workign with them later on is easy.

I kind of reminds me of the LAC Carrier in David Weber's Honor Harrington series, the way the fighters are launched from there broadside landing bays.
I should probably tell that to captshade.

Nice. Thing is, Federation ships, at least the bigger ones, always had fighters aboard. If you check for example the blueprints of the Enterprise-D ist had fighters aboard, a newer model of the Peregrine-class. Shame, of course, they were never shown.

Dad released the carriers years back, they were ones that were ripped off. Some nice person changed his name in the makers readme but didn't take his name from the mesh bottom. Didn't stop them from trying to sell it and others though. I'd be careful with your meshes too if I were you.
