I like 'Yesterday's Enterprise' its one of the best Trek episodes for me. Ambassador Class rocks and is frankly nicer than the Galaxy imho. Much better balance of saucer to primary hull.
I know it was required for the show to work, but does anyone really think the Galaxy would get built 'as is' in a Federation at war with the Klingons?

This episode "3x15" was just on Sci-Fi tonight, I have always loved it and thought it one of the better time-travel stories.
This depiction of that fateful battle with the Klingons is one of the best tributes (in fact, one the only tributes) to Yesterday's Enterprise that I have ever seen.
What can I say except thanks for Guinan's intuition and you for this piece.

The Ambassador class model got such short thrift during TNG and DS9. There should've been a few dozen of them produced over the years, considering the long time between the Enteprise C's service and loss, and the rollout of the Galaxy class and its Nebula sibling.

Nice. There's just two too many birds of prey there however. In the episode there were only 3 of them that attacked at the end.
Somewhat off deviation question here: Has anyone you know made a three nacelled Enterprise D like we saw in All Good Things... ?
