I am not a photographer so it is hard to comment. I looked through your gallery to get a better idea of conceptual art in general and I think this and your other drinking container related images have helped considerable in my understanding of this genre. Visually I really like your work...it has a freshness and utilizes a lot of hi key tonal ranges...something that I am a fan of in any medium.
For me the glass is the fragility of a human being...the hook....whatever powerful thing waiting to overcome that which is frail.

I, again, enjoy this piece. Addictions are ease to get hooked on and very hard to break, so hard to get rid of something you enjoy. I enjoy the lighting, and how you got the glass in the perfect angle. The liquid does pull it together, as *CrAzYmOnKeY commented.

Man, such amazing work.
Mmm.. Screwdrivers.

Wow. No print? This actually would be one photograph I would be willing to purchase. .... Ok scrap that. I checked your website and your supreme talent is out of my budget. Still I can appreciate your eye and imagination.

I really adore the shade of green here. Superb work!

I like this idea, I think the color of the liquid should be more bright and acidic... not really lime, but towards that direction.

God that stuff sucks. I'm on nothing more than an overly inflated ego, amazing source of self worth and an undying quest to become King Emo Boy of dA. I want to out shine all the other emo arogant jagoffs that have come before me. I have the power, or when I get about a million page views I will have the power, to make it happen. And when it does I will be revered by all from the top of the ladder on down. I will be canonized in the dA ranks and anything I do will be lauded as genious. You will see. They will all bow...

But of course this will never happen because I am leaving. I have to keep reminding myself of that...

this is so amazing. all the preperation and set up for the shot looks like it took forever to do and required tremendous amounts of patience. i like the green you used for the liquid. it's a nice change from the red you've used in a lot of your others. i like the symbolism in it. (if i've got it right) how the glass is hooked and even though it's really unstable and you wouldn't be able to drink out of it, the liquid still is in the glass giving the false impression of the glass still being able to function. just like how people always think that they have addiction under control, but in reality they are the ones dangling like the glass being controlled. lovely lighting by the way.

Your shots are so perfect they almost look fake. I can't believe the stamina it must take to shoot for that length of time. Beautiful work, good message. I don't know how you do it!!!!!!!!!

The idea for this is great, and how you shot it is truly breathtaking. The patience you have too is also amazing because when I paint for 14 hours I have this annoying urge to shove my micron through someone's eye n.n;; So kudos for that! I have to admit though the thing that attracted me was the color of the green...I am obessed with it!

This is very dramatic--an excellent image. 14 hours....now I don't feel so discouraged--I've spent two sessions trying to get water drop images (breathless, exhausted, eyes sore...) without an image I like...but I'm not even near 14 hours, so I'll just have to spend some more time...Do you suggest a softbox on the background as well as a main and a fill?
