i am essentially lonelyand in my loneliness i crave things
and i think i want them
and when i get them
i discard them
i am essentially lonely
because i don't know what i want
when i talk about this loneliness
i don't mean that i am alone
i just mean alone in my striving
and that seems like meandering
it is like no one shares any direction in life
except perhaps just paying the bills
and life is not about paying bills
and maybe buying some new gadget
there is no common ground
we all strive in different directions
