My first new art of 2016! A pic depicting a fantasy I have about my current fave bodybuilder, Aleesha Young (official site) Tumblr fan blog with lots of photos!No, not that kind of fantasy! A fantasy of having Aleesha star as Starburst in a video project of some sort; a web series, a short (or even a feature!) for streaming or download, something like that. Why Starburst, and not one of my other OCs like Satin or Tetsuko? Mainly because Aleesha at about 5' 2" is about a foot too short for Tetsuko or Dyna, and about 6" too short for Satin. However, since I haven't produced any "official" continuity for Starburst, I can "reboot" or retcon her into a super heroine of shorter stature (but no less impressive in power).
Who knows, maybe one day I'll start a crowdfunding drive through Indiegogo or Kickstarter to raise funds for such an endeavor. (I'd want to pay Ms. Young for her work, after all, in addition to the other expenses such a project will entail.)
(Update, 2-15-2017: Shortly after I posted this, I started getting bothered by some of the deficiencies of the picture. The eyes, for example, seemed to be looking slightly upward instead of straight ahead. But most importantly, I was bothered by the chin I'd drawn on her. It looked too long, and spoiled the likeness. So I took a little time and fixed the eyes and chin... and now I'm much happier with the result!)

Sadly, no. I follow her on Twitter, so I tweeted the pic with her @aleeshayoung Twitter handle in it. I don't know how often she gets on Twitter, so I don't know if she's even seen it yet. (It could be that she's seen it, and for some reason doesn't want to comment on it, which would be a disappointment.)

Well, different strokes for different folks; I like her current long blonde hair look.
I do intend to get back to Dyna. I want to do it as a regularly-scheduled webcomic, so I have some decisions to make on it (color or B&W? two-tier or full page installments? once a week, or twice? etc.)

Not really. Unlike Dyna, Starburst doesn't switch back and forth between a "normal" form and an ultra-muscular one.

She looks fabulous as Starburst. She is my third favorite, with Tetsuko number one, Satin number two, and Dyna behind Starburst.Β
You need to create the 'DCM UNIVERSE' for your plethora of female OC's. Or even, start a group on dA, dedicated to them.
Your art and creativity is an inspiration to me, and many others, Mr. M. Take it into
consideration.

Thanks, Mr. M. Your cast of characters may be small, but they have had a very strong impact on dA, and parts of the web, where female muscle is highly appreciated.
Also, invite writers to create and submit stories starring any one of your characters, with certain restrictions. It shows the vast impact you have on this community. Just another suggestion.Β

Oh yeah, another thing: give nice bios about each of the women, so if anyone wants to write a story and submit it, they will at least know the basis of the person, such as their background and how they attained their abilities. Though I think you already considered this.

I have been longing to see how this would look once you told me about this and it was so worth the wait. Aleesha looks breathtaking as Starburst and the small action pieces are the icing on the cake. ^_^ I would love to see Aleesha's reaction to this and, possibly, see her tackle this character in one form or another.

exactly! it'd be easy to stylize, edit, and probably be a heck of a lot cheaper! who knows, she may actually be more ok with doing that than acting out a scene on film

I also wouldn't mind a rotoscope animation short of Aleesha as Starburst. Prime examples of that are the Max Fleischer Superman cartoons, the Heavy Metal animated movie, and this little deviation.
