A special episode of Scooby-Doo meets Courage the Cowardly Dog!

Story:

Shaggy, Scooby-Doo and the rest of the gang have broken down in the Middle of Nowhere! The gas station is miles away. They see an old farmhouse and decide to see if they could use the phone line. Muriel is at the door and allows the teens inside. Unfortunately the phone is dead and there is no power. So Muriel suggests that Eustace, Courage and Mystery Inc should tell each other ghost stories. Eustace tells a story of an old man who had a giant mask and whenever he puts it on, the mask on the face comes to life. He then puts it on screaming, "OOGA BOOGA BOOGA!!!" Shaggy, Scooby-Doo and Courage are frightened and run to hide. Eustace says it looks like they got two stupid dogs and laughs. Scooby, Shaggy and Courage still shivering in fear, hide behind the TV.

Suddenly an eerie fog appears outside. It surrounds the house. A loud, dark and creepy whisper is then heard. It said, "Get out...". An eerie faceless figure stands outside. It is tall. Courage, Shaggy and Scooby-Doo check the door to see what it was and when they saw it, they all screamed in fear. They ran to the living room where the gang and Eustace were. Shaggy and Scooby hid behind the gang while Courage tried warning everyone about the faceless figure outside staring at the house.

Daphne asks what Courage is saying, Eustace replies saying he is just a stupid dog. Shaggy then says that there is a tall and creepy ghoul waiting outside while Scooby-Doo tries to shape-shift the monster as Shaggy explains. Courage barks along in agreement. The gang look outside and they see nothing but fog. Shaggy, Scooby and Courage tries to admit that it is the truth but it is no use. Muriel suggest that gang could sleep over for the night. Daphne and Velma could sleep, Fred could sleep in the couch while Shaggy and Scooby could sleep in the barn.

The gang, Eustace and Muriel went to sleep except though Shaggy, Scooby and Courage were awake, shivering in fear of the Faceless Ghoul's return. Then the same voice is heard again, "Get out... now..." Suddenly Fred, Velma, Daphne, Eustace and Muriel are being surrounded by fog and are being lifted into the air. They end up being carried out while floating, yet still sleeping. Courage screams in fear and runs to the barn to warn Shaggy and Scooby as his only hope. He wakes tries to warn them about the others but not even Scooby could understand Courage very well. Shaggy and Scooby eventually get what Courage is saying and peep out at the barn to see none other than the creepy fog, the Faceless Ghoul and their floating friends.

Shaggy freaks out and even his hair spiked out. Scooby-Doo then stood up and tried to yell for it to let them go. It dropped them, but still leaving everyone but Shaggy, Scooby and Courage asleep, and faced it's faceless face at the terrified three. It then starts running for them and chases them all over. A chase song is played during this scene. Shaggy and Scooby even tried to trick the Ghoul by asking it to sit down and then drawing a smiley face as Courage pulled his ears looking like, "What the heck are they doing???" then the Ghoul wipes it's face and mourns at the three.

They scream and continue to run until the Faceless Ghoul runs passed a tracker on the Mystery Machine and one of Fred's security traps sense the Ghoul and captured it. The fog fades away and everybody else awakens. Fred then congratulates Shaggy and Scooby on solving a mystery on their own even though was no actual mystery. Velma then tries to see who was behind the mask. When she tried to pull it off, the Faceless Ghoul mourned it's scary voice crying, "Ow...". Velma and the gang are shocked to think that this ghoul is actually real.

Then the Faceless Ghoul then tries to explain himself, "I wanted you to get out so I can give you some gas for you van..." in his dark, creepy, whispery voice. Fred shakes as he takes the gas from the Ghoul. "T-Thank you." Fred tries to reply. Then the Faceless Ghoul disappears into thin air, leaving Shaggy, Scooby and Courage shivering and shaking.

Daphne, Fred and Velma try to explain a real ghost but just still can't believe it. Eustace and Muriel didn't notice a thing, as most of the times. Daylight immediately came. The gang thanked Muriel and Eustace for the shelter. Eustace was cranky and went back in the house while Muriel and Courage remained outside. Muriel said it was a pleasure having the kids here.

Fred filled the Mystery Machine with gas. The gang hop into the van. Scooby waves goodbye at Courage and Courage, still a little scared of Scooby, reaches out to shake his paw and had a cute smile on his face. Shaggy said that he forgot something.

He went to Courage and said, "Like, here you go little buddy. Try a Scooby Snack." Courage hops to Shaggy and tastes it. He loves it. Courage waves as the gang takes off as Scooby yelled while driving away, "Scooby-Dooby-Doo!!!", leaving Eustace inside the house screaming, "Muriel! Where did all the food go!?!"

I don't know if this is a great plot but I wish it did happen. I mean a Scooby-Doo/Courage the Cowardly Dog crossover regardless. Hope you liked the plot.
