Day 18 of our expedition takes us to encounter the Mokèlé-mbèmbé. Native to the Congo River, their means "one who blocks the flow of rivers". They're the main prey for the Kasai Rex, so they spend their time in the water since the Rexes aren't as formidable in the water. They can be 16-32 feet long and 10-15 feet tall, they spend most of their days feeding on leaves and fruit at the trees near the water.
