Day 17 of our expedition takes us on a night encounter with the Popobawa. Native to Zanzibar and its name meaning "bat wing", it's a feared creature to the locals, who refer to creatures like this as a Shetani, which is the East African version of a demon. They have the ability to shapeshift, and can even look like a human. They have been know not...violate other people at night, yikes. So locals have every reason to be terrified of them, the Popobawa is even to have ties with night terrors and sleep paralysis. So the best option is to warn others of what the Popobawa has done so they can defend themselves against it.
