Description This is a bit preemptive of me, but I'm uploading a few quick renders of the model of Rynn that I'm working on in my free time. There are still lots left to be done. Hands, feet, hair, clothes, a wing...sterno-cleido-mastoid...general cleanup and fixing of edge loops, anatomy and adding some extrail details and asymetry. Whenever I all that done, I'll lay out the UVs, take it into ZBrush for some displacement detailing, do the texture maps...maybe try out some sub-surface scattering on her...maybe even save her clothes till last so I can do them in maya cloth (we learn that on wednesday, yay!!) well, anyway, still a looooooong long ways to go...but critiques on how its looking so far is always appreciated....it'd be easier to fix geometry problems now than it would be at the end.

oh, and haven't finished the brow area, and her face is in kind of a neutral default expression, so i appologize if she looks sad or worried ;

so critique away!

WHOA nelly~! lol, no joke: I was drinking a glass of milk as my message box loaded and almost choked on it when it did. I need to make a show called Everybody Loves Rynnay. Because seriously, you're the second person to do this. =X A friend of mine wanted to do this too, which is why I did the concept work I posted recently. But anyway, I digress~

Everything seems to be coming along swimmingly. The anatomy looks pretty good, and I see no boxyness. Tail placement's good, leg anatomy is right, etc. I hope I get to see a close-up of the head some time. The test lighting here makes it a little difficult to make out details. Can you see if you can make a back light to bring out the details a little?
Something seems kind of off with her neck, too... specifically, the throat region where it leads into her shoulder blades (which seem to curve downward a little too much). There should be an inward dip where the shoulderlades meet the two tendons of the neck (I think? it's too early for me to google it e_e).

Anyway, that's about all I have to say But it's looking fantastic! What a pleasant surprise this was!!

The deltoid muscles I think is what you're looking at, and you're right, they're a little beefy for her. She actually started out being rather bulky and muscley ; and I don't see why you're surprised, I told you when you posted the character sheet that I was going to steal it for my own nefarious plans, mwahaha >

but I thank ye, kind miss, for your encouraging words. Hopefully I can pull something off to make us both proud

ps (and i hope i hit "stop" before it sent a version through) I'm also planning on rigging her once the model and textures are done, so if you'd like I'll be able to send her to you to pose/animate or whatever you'd like to do with her ^-^
