I love sailing ships. There is a romance about them. great shot my fridnd, and a wonderful accent.
Desktop still in the shop, bad data controller on the motherboard. this is what was frying the hard drives. Do you believe this? My mit are too big for this laptop. Bostiches!

What a nightmare. This is the third hard drive, second mother board. Turns out that they may send you refurbished HW when replacing failed parts under warranty. Who knew. Getting a totally new and different board. (Terabyte)and will bring it in and have it tested before I load all my software again. I must say I am totally gunshy now. I had never experienced a hardware failure.

Its scary.. I've been on these old 1995 IBM laptops ..I lost the drives on both at one time or another..needed a new keyboard on one.. I hate when there is a problem lol....
