A scene from the past . Looking upriver at Mystic towards the restoration shipyard. The bowsprit of the ship is pointing to the Charles W Morgan , the last wooden sailing ship remaining which is currently hauled and under restoration at the yard.Related content

It is beautiful, David. I love it when you do ships. Either the photography or your paintings. Both are what speak to you, isn't it? I think so. You do them both so well. Bet this one too would look stunning as a painting.

that is a neat place, the wood boats that big give me chills, i hope you know what i mean...the people who built those tall ships back in the 17-1800's how magnificent they are..there are stories those shipyards could tell thats for sure

Yea..they still operate this one restoring old wooden vessels.. Mystic is the kind of place you would love..I have lots of pics of it and the ships in my gallery..
