In my humble opinion - no, in actual fact - the Bible contains only six admonishment towards homosexuals. It contains roughly, if my fourteen years of study serve me well, thirty-seven towards heterosexuals. Now, that doesn't mean straight people are bad. Just that they need to be watched a little closer.

I don't like lables on people nor any thing ells ( if I had to say what I am I guess bi and as fair as religion I am Unitarian so more then one I guess) My mother grew up southern baptist so me telling her I was lesbian when I was 11(almost 24 now) she cried and cried and thought she was a bad mom.. She is now pretty cool with every thing.. My dad said he already known.. I told them at the same time.. Then when I was 16 I told them both I think I am more bi becouse I feel in love with some one is MtF .. (6 plus years we were engaged she left two 1 year ago) Now I am dating some one who is FtM I am just ok with all people and all peoples thoughts on relgion.. (just don't tell me I am going to hell for loving) Both my parents very supportive now my dad even handed out rainbow flags at Atlanta Pride last year.. Mom is a little less open about it but supportive.. They are now divorsed but I love them both and I love being me.. I also live this write so thank you ..

Awesome. I tried to come out to my mom in high school. Didn't work so well. It was better when I came out to my dad but I was 24 then.

Comments like those just enrage me like so few other things can. Unless they somehow communicate with God, and speak directly to Him, they have no right to speak for Him.
I was taught He loves everybody, no matter what.
Society sucks.

Yes. That why it says love others like Jesus loves. Which mean He loves everyone.

what an ass (referring to the comment)!!! This person needs to see that one day, maybe tommorow or maybe 50 years from now, the world will be more accepting of who we are. Until then, all that we can do is fight it.

The bible also says slaves should love their masters, and anyone having premarital sex should be stoned to death, as well as anyone working on the sabbath, and many other minor offenses...if we really followed the bible, we would all have been stoned to death by now. Also, the most important part of the boble was when Jesus said "Love thy neighbor as thyself". He never said one word against gay people, or anyone else.

The Christians don't really have the right to decide what rainbows mean for eveybody. Since they exist around the worls, pretty much all cultures have different meanings for them, and stories and myths about rainbows.
What do I think when I look at rainbows? The reflection of light. And treasures.

Actually the rainbow is the sign that God would never again bring destruction like the FLood upon the earth ever again. A covenant with all the creatures on the earth, not just STRAIGHT HUMANS. Obviously this person didn't even know their own bible well enough.
That's totally uncalled for. Whoever said that is the real digusting creep. The sad part is that person used the same Bible to justify themselves that pro gay Christians, like the UCC and the Unitarians use to justify their acceptance.
