Christine's sadness is what captures the attention of all artists and fans of the series. She feels so heart broken for leaving her teacher and angel of music forever. Christine always sees Erik there in her dreams, singing trying to get her to come to him. The passion between the two was broken apart when she had left with Raoul that night. All those years of tears and sadness over took her and always wanted to run back into his arms, wanting to be with him for eternity.
