The cel-shading in D|S is a little bit more obtuse than that.
It depends on your lighting scheme.
With this image, I was using DAZ's default rendering engine, not the cartoon shader.

(For the confused, I often call the NearMe figure "Naomi" because she reminds me of the heroine from an anime movie about humanoid robots (androids, really) that were secretly develpoed to be able to procreate. Interesting stuff, that...)
