During one of Johnny Blaze's daredevil stunts, he was suddenly transported to the strange realm of Illistrad. He had been summoned by Gideon, whom believed him to be a great warrior. When Gideon explained the situation to Blaze, he was in shock and agreed to help in the war. Johnny released the Rider and summoned their bike. The Devil's Bounty Hunter has now joined the fight against the Shadows of Illistrad.
