Description nuckchorris0 Made a really nice script some time ago and I was asked to take a look into it:


And now it's done!


For any of you who don't know about it:

Installing this script will add a little button within your activitiy-List of your message-board.

Pressing this button will give the respective user a Llama-badge!


A Yellow button means you already gave a Llama.

A Green means success in giving a Llama while a Red means Error.


 I changed a few things, which accidentally made it now compatible with

  • Firefox + Greasemonkey
  • Chrome (native)
  • Chrome + Tampermonkey
  • Opera (native + Workaround)
  • Opera + Violentmonkey
  • Safari + Ninjakit.


In case you are wondering how to install, just follow my guid!

Using GM-scripts with other BrowserGreasemonkey-Scripts are to use with Firefox and Firefox-Addon Greasemonkey.
However, it is possible to use them in other browsers as well (now with videos!):
Firefox:
For firefox, just install greasemonkey-addon here: https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/greasemonkey/
Everything is now set well, just visit the intall-link within the userscripts-description, press install on the targeted site and refresh deviantart to use it!
Opera:
Brand new Way:
Just install the extension "Violent Monkey": https://addons.opera.com/de/extensions/details/violent-monkey/?display=en
And suddenly everything is as easy as in Firefox!
Just follow the userscript's install link and press the "install" button. A little prompt will show up and suddenly the script is working!
Oldschool (more work for less features):

If the userscripts aren't using GM_functions, they will work in Opera just fine with copying

With the recent Firefox update, Greasemonkey no longer supports AMALL, so use Tampermonkey for it instead! (Tampermonkey supports Firefox now, too!)

should not matter, since they are all up to date.
greasyfork is updating from phi.pf-control and github is updated by me by hand.

Personally I host all my scripts on my server phi.pf-control with greasyfork as a mirror for downtimes.
But since this was originally a github project and is updated as one, there is also a link to that place.

Of course you will need a userscript handler as described above.
Currently I recommend Greasemonkey on Firefox and Tampermonkey on the other Browsers.

I fixed this now in v1.03 and at least for me it seems to work fine.

Thanks for your report! I guess I need to change a lot of my scripts now to adapt to the url...
The @ Grant in userscripts allow you to use Greasemonkey-functions for e.g. storing data across multiple domains, do cross site requests, add styles or access website-objects.
GM_setValue was used there in a previous Version and probably got forgotten... What is now needed is @ grant unsafeWindow to access the DiFi-object of the site.

I updated Φ, Greasyfork and Github with a new Version for this script.

Well, it was surprisingly little work...
Only 9 of my scripts were affected and of those only 4 were kind of popular. ^^
I always try to keep the less popular working, too, though.

That is probably due to the recent name change of "messages" to "notifications" as the script looks for "messages" it won't find anything. I edited it to notifications in both places in my copy of the GM script and it works again, though GM did shout about something called @ grant - (space added in case anyone uses dA with that user name ) I didn't tamper with that as I don't understand what that does, but I did know that a simple name change wouldn't effect the script in any way.

I'm getting errors when I try to return a llama, every time, and it was upon my first attempt onward.

Is it related to my firewall, password, what? It's very perplexing...

Hello and thanks for your report!

This problem might be caused by Llama-giving settings.
When you visit one's profile and give him a Llama, there should be a password-request at first. Underneath that there is a checkbox to "remember password". YOu need to check this checkbox and give someone a Llama like this once so the password is saved. This is required by the Amall script.

If this couldn't solve the issue, please send me the error-message or a screanshot ( e.g. via sta.sh).

Ich weiß nicht, wie Android Skripte generell unterstützt.
Normalerweise läuft dort aber doch auf Firefox und Opera in der Mobile-Version oder?
Dann sollte das doch eigentlich auch über Greasemonkey/Violentmonkey funktonieren...

Ich hab kein Smartphone.^^
Brauchte ich bislang auch net.

Also, nach folgendem Link hast du bei Android einen auf Chromium basierten Browser, bei dem Tampermonkey installiert werden kann. Da die meisten meiner Skripte auch durch Tampermonkey unterstützt werden, sollte die dann auch darauf laufen. ^^

What exactly did you do when the message came?
When you tried to download: try downloading from my own server phi.pf-control.de/userscripts/…
If the Message is still showing up when downloading, you might need to change an Antivirus-(Webprotection)-Setting.

If you could install it properly, but the message pops up every time you try to give someone a Llama via this script, please tell me the application that is warning you.
