Whooo! I finally started my doujin after months of planning! This is the cover of the first part in six (at this point in time, it might change). This particular part will be eleven pages long and is an exploration of my weird headcanon. I'll update whenever I can, but it should be about once a week.
I could not have done this without my brother, who is my co-author. Please go look at his stuff! He storyboarded most of this first part for me and is a very talented cartoonist:

And yeah, my brother walked in while I was grumbling at my horrible storyboarding skills. I explained the premise of the story to him and he was like "Gimme that notebook immediately." We spent the rest of the night plotting, snatching the notebook out of each other's hands, and/or drawing on the same piece of paper at the same time.
He's so good at sequential art, has such a strong sense of movement and flow. I really couldn't have done this without him.

Thank you! I'll try my best with the comic... long form comic-ing (that is a word, I swear) is new and shaky ground for me. We'll see how I do.
I can't do much in the way of storyboards either... my brother did almost all of them for this first part of the comic...

Why is that everything you do is so... stylish, for lack of better word? Or mabye I should call it artistic? You really have a creative mind, And there's such amazing... flow in everything you do. I love it. Hard.

As to your question, I'm not sure... the style thing is just innate, I guess. I also find smooth lines to be aesthetically pleasing. But really, I'm not quite sure what makes my art what it is. Further brooding introspection is needed upon this matter.

I really love your drawing style so I definitely would had followed this doujin no matter what it tells about... But I must admid that that finish name really caught my eyes since I'm a Finn myself, hehe

I did a bunch of research for this... err... I hope the Finnish means what I think it means. I feel rather bashful, making a doujin based on a culture of which I am mostly ignorant. Sometimes I'm embarrassed to be an American.
