Description Arachnis started out as your typical warrior breed, grown on a planet with 8% more gravity than that of earth. Although 8% doesn't sound like much, you have to consider that great deal to do with the development of life on a planet. It could mean the difference between intelligence evolving and nothing more complex than snails. For this reason, life on Arachnis' home planet was a constant game of survival. You had to be ruthless and strong to live, as well as fast and cunning. You also had to make a lot of good friends real fast or you could find yourself being eaten by marauding cannibals. The menu on Qitokok (chee tow kok) mainly consisted of alien scallops, land stars, and giant flowers. Everything else was pretty much inedible since most life on Qitokok was silicon based. The few carbon based life forms were so small or so hostile to humans that it wouldn't be worth domesticating them.

Arachnis' (aka SPIDER) real name was Giido (gee ee do). When he was a young boy both his parents were killed by marauders but he was left alive purposely so that he would be a potentially larger meal someday in the future, the same way fisherman release younger catches to keep the population stable. Giido swore to catch the band of marauders someday. He joined a monastery that trained in ancient martial arts, survival, war combat, art, philosophy, and stealth. He learned quickly and turned from a helpless child into one of the most powerful monks in the land. He left the monastery to begin hunting down marauders to exterminate them all. Eventually he came upon the child of the family who killed his parents. The child would only have been in his infancy when Giido's parents were killed and stood before Arachnis at eleven years of age. Arachnis killed the boy.

Arachnis realized that even if he destroyed the last of the marauders, it was the marauder’s choice to survive in such a way, to raise their children. Arachnis realized that it was desperation, greed, and the corruption of leaders that forced people to lead a life of evil, gripping to the edge of life, killing to survive.

Arachnis decided he would no longer be a legend on his home world, he now wanted to leave Qitokok and become a slayer of corrupt leaders throughout the universe. He had a vendetta against the manipulative powers who sought advantage from feeding off the weak in order to live a life of plenty. He wanted to become an assassin of world leaders.

The fortune he made from eliminating marauders was divided up among different tribes to be used to help the public and retry teraforming projects to make Qitokok more habitable, but he kept a small bundle of the money to further harden his body to survive even worse treachery. He built an interstellar space craft from the ground up with his knowledge of aerospace engineering. Arachnis decided he would set his site on Earth Ixa (eye zah), or the third earth. Earth Ixa is approximately 450,000,000 light years from Earth Gia (the original earth) and over 60 billion light years from Qitokok, almost 90 degrees around the milky way galaxy’s core, but the trip is only two months through a few wormholes.

On Earth Ixa he accepts an assignment to eliminate a corporate body. First, three humans (who are about 5% cyberized) two humans who are at least 10% cyberized, and three synthetic cyber brains who may or may not be in lockup or in wholly biomechanical or robotic bodies. Arachnis is able to handle the five humans easily, killing them without ever being detected, but the synths proved to be more troublesome. The first brain was in lockup, a massive underground storage complex that housed billions of these big rectangular grey boxes which were actually the computer brains of virtual sentient beings. The corporate lords usually had much larger brains and much higher levels of security. However, Arachnis was able to destroy it. The other two brains attained bodies shortly after hearing of the assassinations and were attempting to go off world. The corporate lords had biomechanical bodies with robotic endoskeletons. They were very strong and highly formidable against someone like Arachnis. But no matter, Arachnis was a skilled assasin and could destroy these targets from an enormous distance. Arachnis used a powerful blow dart gun (to avoid trajectory detection devices from raising shields). The dart was tipped with some nano robots that would embed a powerful virus in the mind of the target. He eliminated one of the lords in this way, but the other was aware of this kind of attack and was equipped with powerful attack detection devices, energy barriers, and offensive automated mobile weaponry or OAMWs. In order to eliminate this target he would have to get up close.

When he was able to finally corner the corporate lord, the target put up a good fight and maimed Ararchnis very badly. Cracking three ribs, fracturing his skull, and almost obliterating his right hand. Arachnis was able to decapitate the lord but to no avail, the body could operate remotely. Fortunately for Arachnis he has a powerful set of modems in his brain and was able to hack the signal. The lord was finally destroyed.

Only on Arachnis’ first bounty did he find he was inadequate. If he hoped to make an impression on the corrupt world of elites he had to do something drastic. Arachnis became better known as Spider at the age of 27. After a few years of killing and/or catching bigger and badder bounties, Arachnis hardened his body with biomechanical implants, new cybernetic tissues, a completely overhauled solar plexus, new organs, and a solidified brain. He even got an exo frontal cybernetic cortex implanted in his brain to become less susceptible to mind hacking, and more capable of hacking others. Spider also got a new spine with an extendable prehensile tail fully equipped with a cornucopia of sensors, weapons, and even a mechanism that fires solid ropes of a web-like substance. He also got two extra legs attached to his legs behind the kneecap at the bottom of the femur. He also got two more arms attached to his collar bones that met the joint of his shoulder. Spider has become a legend in a very short period of time throughout the galaxy but in recent years, perhaps do to the depression or the military detention or the wormhole restrictions, there’s been a change in Spider. He has been seen less and less. Rumors have it that he is training an armada to destroy the intergalactic militia, or perhaps he is cloning himself and making his duplicates into new identities to carry out his will, some speculate he is training apprentices to become bounty hunters throughout the milky way. It is possible that his mind has been ravaged so many times through repeated network attacks that he simply went insane. No one knows for sure. But now, most recently, he may have something to do with a conspiracy being acted out and choreographed by the hydrogen cabinet, an elite group of networked cyber brains working in unison to become a single mind in order to command the economies and politics of the cosmos. Who knows?
