Nero from Devil May Cry 4I drew Dante a few years back, and when I uploaded it to my FB account someone said I should draw Nero, and I always wanted to, but couldn't find a good enough picture. Finally I found one, which is on dA --> [link] It's a digital piece so i wanted to give it a traditional feel, and added in some more details from the game e.g. that epic 'Devil Bringer' arm!
Anyways, i did this kinda relatively quickly, just yesterday night and the morning after. Did a rough outline in pencil first (quite a change..lol) then went over it in a ball-point pen

Right, I understand were you are coming from, seeing as plagirism is an important matter. But I don't think its necessary to move it anywhere...Like, people do drawings of other people's possibly copyrighted photography, without crediting them either, is that not the same?
My picture is quite different from the artist's in a few ways so I really don't see an issue. If I had stolen the entire thing or copied it in the same format then maybe you would have a point.
its not point for point, I did make some alterations of my own too
I could always note the artist, and if the artist decides they want it taken down that's fine, but I shouldn't otherwise.
In the future I probably won't do this again, so thanks
