It sucked very very much! I love the series but ... lets all be honest it sucked! I mean seriosly you couldnt tell what was truely going on! they didnt even put the giant koi fish at the end! And I was so disipointed ... mostly because seeing that movie was a b-day present! Who ever that movie should be ashamed!

Agreed. I found this movie to be extremely disappointing. It's really quite sad when you think about how amazing it could have been if they'd had a better script and director. Not to mention a better casting directer...

I actually loved it. (Yes, there ARE actually people that do like it) I admit there are things that could have been improved. I think Shyamalan should still be the director, he's good at it. I think they just need a different writer, that's all. And for the actors and actresses to practice their lines more.

Shyamalan did not and will never ruin the show. He ruined the movie but the show is something to appreciate and fall back on after you see the movie. I actually watched the Great Divide after the movie.
It was the script, the pacing, and the length that ruined the film. The acting was good but for the actors to say such bad dialogue ruined their performance.

Yes! I really hate it when people say it's a fact that the movie was bad but it's only an opinion (large majority actually) but there are people that actually enjoyed the movie. So thank you. Everyone has opinions

In Germany, it's going to be released in August. It's one of the movies I've been looking forward to. And even if the critics say it was horrible, I want to see it though

I imagined it would be no good, but imo, no remake can ruin the original. Usually, if the original is strong enough, no sequel or remake can ruin it.

Well for one: they pronounced over half of the characters names wrong like Sokka, Aang, and Iroh. (Some even said Avatar like Ovatah)
Also, they went by WAAAY to quickly.
They also changed the characters personalities (like Sokka isn't really funny that much)
And they didn't stay with the story as well as they could've. :/

I didn't think it was going to be a masterpiece to begin with but to be honest it's better than what the critics are saying. If you saw it in 2D then it wasn't as much as a disappointment but it went way too quickly and the beginning 20 minutes or so was a joke. I made a full review in my submissions if you want to feel free to check it out, but I probably say other then the rushing the main concern I had was the fire benders.

yeah, it moved too fast and the whole issue with the names and the ninja moves before actually bending was all awful. i had to think of it as a movie and not as a tv show, but i still think it was OK for a movie.
