So this is a random nebula thing i made when i was bored the other day. i also used it in my new journal. The journal images were altered more than this was, for instance this is the original color scheme. I hope you like it, i know its nothing special, but i like it enough. Awesome craziness, love the contrast between light and dark. Shadow angle is off a bit on the planet, the crescent should point at the lightsource.

You know... honestly (excuse typos, I'm on the new laptop, still getting used to the keys)...
The only parts I'm curious about are the two main flares.. The white one that starts in the top right and then works its way down, forking at one point.. I love the texture on it, but am a bit curious how you achieved it.
That and the more orange colored flare thats kind of off to the left... it almost looks like you went in manually and painted that in with a tablet or some shit... lol.

the key is finding the right texture and using the right blending options. those flares are actually ink patterns set on color dodge. ive found that there are so many cool things you can use, its just finding them is whats hard. a tip, download =resurgere 's entire gallery, lol

LOL.... gotcha... man you should really check into getting a tablet... I think the work would be really stunning if you could kind of go in a maybe add some of your own touches here and there. I love screwing around with mine, I just rarely get time to.
Here lately just to be able to do something with it PERIOD, I've been screwing around with photo touch-ups, etc... I'll probably look around for some info and tutorials on that a lot more and in depth when my camera comes in tomorrow... LOL
