every character in every book,
every person who lived in the imaginations of children or any other form of existence you could think of....
Left.
They left me behind.
Alone.
And when I woke,

Two things could be better imho:
1) The woman "should" look more like walking forward
2) The perspective of the rising balls should be checked. For example the ball up in the middle is so much higher that it should be depicted a bit "from below".

I mean about
2001: Space Oddyssey
2010: Oddysey Two
[Both were filmed, both in 70-80's, so not much actual in politics]
2061: Oddysey Three
3001: Finale
In fact both books were rewritten by Author after some major facts like fall of communism or the newest space researchs.
Anyway. It is strange MOST fact from original 1st and 2nd books were... Actual. For example in original [and actual] version of the book 2010 was used the jupiter's atmospohere as the aero-brake. Book was written in 75'. Both voyagers used that trick few years later.
The major changes in the 2010 [second book] is the ZSRR changed into Russia, no conflict on the Earth [Cold War], and chinese ship Tsien in the actual version of book, which is also after Discovery.
All books is written by Arthur C. Clarke. You need to read books and

To be honest with you, I'm not even really sure.. At the moment when I really just sat there and looked at it the first time, It looked off to me, for some reason. Now when I take my second glance at it, the picture and lighting seem fine. Maybe I just didn't see the light source the first time I looked lol... All I remember thinking was "The shadow looks like it's in the wrong place..."
Regardless to what I initially said in the comment, It's an amazing picture!
