Long ago (long before I joined Deviantart) I was making a story about a ship named RMS Alexandria. The ship had five funnels and a black and blue hull, with a white top structure. Then, I found that you had done the exact same thing on Deviantart!!
So sorry if you think I am copying or "stealing" your idea. I did not know.

Haha no worries. It's not a particularly special name so I can see it coming up fairly easily. After all, there were some famous Alexandra's in history.

There's was an actual ship that had five funnels. Do you know what that ship is?

Correction. The S.S. Great Eastern had five funnels, though one of them was taken off.
Note: Here are the only military ships with 5 and more funnels:

It is fairly interesting. I think I might put it in the short story book I want to sell.
The smaller sister for this ship needs a name. Im thinking SS Atlantica or SS Pacifica but I'm not sure. She is like the Empress of Ireland so you know

1. You're writing a book? So am I! I've been working on mine for 5 years and it's still not done.
2. I think the SS Pacifica sounds good. It has more of a ring in my opinion.
God luck on the book and the pics, man!

Thank You, sounds good. Mine I've been working on for two years.
SS Pacifica it is. Flying the Australian merchant navy flag from the stern and the RSC pendant from mainmast while US flag flies from the foremast indicating destination

Denodon In reply to Scottvisnjic [2009-03-15 08:11:48 +0000 UTC]
well the hull is Deep blue (appears black) with gold bar then white superstructure. Funnels are a buff colour (very close to White Star colour) with the black top. Rings on funnel are white

Why thank you.
I wonder if I'll ever get around to finishing that story, I know I'm going to draw more of this liner
