Yes, they are similar, but this artist posted this in 2004 whereas Muirin posted hers in 2011. So if anyone copied anyone, Muirin copied depplosion. And I don't think she did, I believe they're just similar ideas.

You know, this has to be one of my ultimate all-time favorite pieces of Poto art. You did a fantastic job portraying the duality of their personalities and how complicated their relationship really is! This is what happens when a creature of the dark falls in love with a creature of light. You've captured the overall feel of Phantom spot on. Bravo! *applauds*

Thank you, that's pretty much what I was going for. They're so near to each other (he's always watching through the mirror...creep LOL just kidding *pets Erik*) but their worlds are vastly different.

Go right ahead, it's not mine. It's from the ALW musical and both the original Leroux and Susan Kay novels (the quote is from Susan Kay's novel), so you wouldn't even have to credit me. Nothing of this is my own, except for the idea to draw it the way I did.
