Well, he didn't.I'm so sick and tired of all these people using the Bible as their only defense.
Here some news: God did not write your precious little Bible. All he did was get some followers who did it for him.
Your faith in God should have nothing to do with a man-made book.
So stop using it as your only defense in 99.9% of all arguments.
Get smarter and maybe you can actually win an argument without it.
I'm going to get so much shit for this. lol, it'll be ridiculous.

I'm agnostic but I'm fine with religious people, until they say things like "Homophobia is wrong, the bible says so!!" or "Abortion is wrong, the bible says so!!"
Well the bible was written by some guy hundreds of years ago who knows nothing about god. He just wanted everyone to listen to his own rules. :/
And while the bible has some pretty damn cool stories, I wouldn't live by it.

Well that is true is is not the word of God. God never supported rape. murder, sexism and so on mankind did. As I recall there are books of John, Mark, Matthew, and so on but no book of Jesus or God.

i'm not religous or anything, but if god really exists, where is he/she?, what the hell is he/she doing?, why do you use mind control to take over a world that you aparantly made? if god doesn't exist, where is a time travel device, so i can go back and kill the bloody madman who made up the stories, before he even speeks a word of this so called god.

I don't go to the lengths as to actually belittle someone's beliefs, however. I don't support them.
I would never burn someone's bible because of the utter and uptmost disrespect involved in the process. However, I wish for others to respect my beliefs as well.

i do respect other people's beliefs, and i don't put them down on purpose, but when people put me down for not being a believer (for example 3 weeks ago when someone said that i should go to hell after being burned at the stake {true story}) i got rather deffencive, and it kinda got out of hand...

B. I would say "other religions too" but I know for a fact the books the early Christians left out of their New Testament, would have prevented a lot of misogyny and war. They got to pick and choose what they would tell their followers what the word of god is, and that's disgusting.

I have won arguments without it. In fact most of my views go against what most "think" is in the bible. That is why I make a lot of people mad. *stickers.*
I don't use the bible for the reason it was made by man, and the verses were hand picked. The whole bible isn't even there because the bible started out as scrolls. -.- Therefore people may only be getting half of the story.
One thing people don't understand though is that the bible was written pneumonia culture believes and history. Not everything in it is the word of god or Jesus.
