Very impressive. I hardly have the patience for that. But I shall try it one day when Marcus gives me my effing cable back.

I always like startrails in black and white moreso than in color. This has a very nice setting too, nice print.

I'm a cunt. Scan from negative. Although, almost no modification. I've never really made a good effort at this print. The only times I've tried I didn't realize that my bellows was adjusted for MF and the corners of my image were all fucked. haha!

Well actually, I like film more but can't afford developing, and I do not have a scanner. How do you get around that? And thanks for adding me.

Hmm, have you really considered the costs closely? It is possible to assemble quite a respectable 35mm system for a very reasonable price. The value of my cameras ranges from about $40-$200. And you know what? My best glass is on the $40 bargain.

I am moreso reffering to developing. I have a decent pentax me that i inherited from my grandpa. How much do you pay for developing? (Weekly)

dersunde In reply to ParkourVision [2006-01-27 09:17:45 +0000 UTC]

If you don't spend $1000 on a digi you got a lot spare dough kickin around for film and developing.

My suggestion is at the first chance you have, get in to a darkroom at your school. I wasn't really into photography then, so I missed out on that whole experience.

Me. I spent a stupid amount on film and developing, and camera things. But that's because I work hard to afford that.

Great capture but I cannot help to think that it would have been a tad better if it was shot on a real slow color slide.
But...it was very much worth the try as I have never seen a long exposure like this done on black and white film! Really unique to say the very least.
I know first hand how hard it is to do this type of long exposures because there are so many factors that can spoil your shot halfway through...lenses fogging up, cars coming by, etc and so I say...hats off to you!!!

So you r know how to photograph the North Star (Polaris). You did it well. I know too how to photograph it but never have.

There is majic in extremely long shutter speeds. We know that looking at Polaris, the stars appear to turn counter clockwise!

Nice work!
