An angry looking gorilla guards his territory. The frightening ape stands alert in the underbrush of the jungle on the bank of the small stream that acts as the border to his domain. Sunlight cuts through the forest canopy and lights up the mists and strikes the dark fur of the beast in front of you.
Gorillas are one of my favorite animals, so I always have a lot of fun making art like this.
I created this image using CGI and digital painting applications.

Anywhere from a few hours to a few months...depends on the complexity of the model. However, these days, I tend to use more off-the-shelf models as family life + day job are leaving me little time for art.
