Thank you! Maybe they worked, as we came out of the storm just fine. We had no real damage, not even a flooded basement, the power stayed on, so I say we won! The neighborhood in general got peppered with lots of small branches and leaves off the trees, but it's just messy looking, not harmful in any way. We dodged the bullet this time!

I know exactly what you mean! Somehow, spritzing doesn't quite do the trick. THere has to be the lighting that goes along with wet weather. There's definitely a kind of light that emerges after a rain that can't be replicated simply by squirting a flower.

I agree.. that special soft light, clean & sparkly. And as much as I love the look of water drops, there's been many a pic that I've said "NO" to because the photographer just didn't get it.

Thank you! I need to hug my camera more often. It reproduces colors so beautifully that I never need to fool with the hue/saturation any more. This was a bit under-exposed, too; darker images seem to have better color.
