Thank you very much. I took that photo quite awhile back, trying my new camera out. Crocuses are so pretty to see when the rest of the landscape is wintery and bleak. I'm glad you like it!

Thank you very much. I LOVE flowers and all living things, and I would go to hell and back to get a good pic! I've always been relentless when I want to get a really good photo, so I think that's part of it. Hope I don't end up in jail, somehow. I've heard that many photogs have run afoul of the law, simply by taking pix of railroads, factories, nuclear facilities and the like. It could happen to anyone! Luckily, these flowers were in a public park, so I felt pretty secure there.

Thank you very much. I have my camera to thank for its excellent color capturing capabilities. My previous camera didn't do a good job with reds (lots of blobby/bleeding images) and blues (looked washed out). So the new camera will try any color and faithfully reproduce it! I love it!

Another good natural/life scene captured.
I really like how you have used the light in this shot,captured very well due to the angle you have placed it, while also Taking the shot of the flowers looking up and very open.I like how you have captured the bold,bright Flower colours (mainly pink) and have combined them towards the brown and rigged part of the natural process of Life.Overal a fine shot.4D.

Taking a photo of a natural scene is so much more rewarding and expresionist than taking somthing Man made,thats just my opinion though.

Thank you so much! I agree with you. I'm not interested in man-made anything, really. I live in a crowded suburb, and I am really happy and refreshed when I go out in nature and take pictures. It's fun and very exciting sometimes. It's kind of like being high, but much better!

Thanks. I feel it coming, too. The buds on one of my earliest blooming tree (snow crab) are coming out. In fact, I might go take a pic of them. It's getting a lot colder today, and will be down into the 20s this weekend.

We have a strong wind, too. It just started up about an hour ago, and it's getting a lot colder right now. I took some pictures of tiny leaf buds on my snow crab awhile ago, but I don't think they're interesting to anyone but me, LOL!

They're just such teeny green leaf buds! You can hardly see that there are leaves trying to come out, but they're there. After tonight's hard cold wind, they'll probably drop off. Boo hiss.

They remind me of saffron crocuses, especially in their color.
