Thank you very much. It wasn't the sharpest picture, but it was the best of the lot. I couldn't say no to those wonderful, sunny summer colors.

Thank you. I love bright yellow butterflies, but they're hard to photograph. This was the best I could do.

Yep, I know what you mean. That blurry thing is a flower in the foreground. With the 300mm zoom, the depth of field is very shallow; everything in the foreground and background is blurry. Only the subject is (or should be!) in focus.

Thank you. He's such a little squirt, but I loved that beautiful yellow. Nature was very generous with butterflies when it comes to coloring.

Thank you, Anita. I wish this were just a bit sharper, but for some reason, I couldn't get a really sharp shot of this fellow. Maybe the focus wasn't 100% right. But I love his color and shape, so I decided to post it anyway.

It is a little soft, but it was very hard to focus on this bright yellow butterfly. I don't understand why I had such a hard time, but I did!

Sometimes I had this problem, too, and when I get home I found that none of my photo works - as I would like - but it's been a lot better
